Mina Angelos grew up in Montreal and attended Mc Gill University. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, BA magna cum laude, where she was introduced to watercolor. Since then she has painted primarily in watercolor and has attended workshops taught by many internationally recognized teachers, including Judi Betts, Cheng Khee Chee, Stephen Quiller, Judy Morris, Mark Mehaffey, and Ming Ma. Her work has been published in the Conservationist magazine, Splash16- Exploring Texture, and the World Watercolour Competition Catalogue. Her one woman shows include Mina Angelos: Watercolors at the Rockwell Kent Gallery, SUNY Plattsburgh.

Her group shows include Flowers, Meyers Fine Arts Gallery, SUNY Plattsburgh. Her work has been in national juried shows in New York City, Old Forge, NY and Louisville, Kentucky, as well as many regional juried exhibitions. She is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and the Central New York Watercolor Society, a member of the Vermont Watercolor Society and the Strand Center for the Arts.
